Most of the members of the Aleppo Temple (AAONMS) Shrine
Oriental Band belong to the Scottish Rite Bodies - a collateral or affiliated
organization of Masonry. The Scottish Rite is divided into two jurisdictions -
the Northern Jurisdiction and the Southern Jurisdiction. Because of the location
of Aleppo Temple, most of the members of its Oriental Band belong to Scottish
Rite Bodies contained within the Northern Jurisdiction. However, many of the
members of the Oriental Band spend significant time within the Southern
Jurisdiction. For this reason, information concerning either the Northern or
Southern Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite Bodies may be obtained by clicking on
